The single source of truth for every course. Change the main name or the sub course details (certified course title) and it reflects across the ENTIRE portal — student dashboard, results, exam desks, assessments and the public website. Deleting removes the programme and its modules (published results/notices stay until removed in their own sections).
Course & Programme Management
Add, edit and remove practical courses across all AI programmes. Everything you save here appears
instantly on the student dashboard's Virtual Practicals section.
Data is stored in this browser and shared with the dashboard on the same address.
To publish courses to every device, connect a real database later — the structure is already in place.
+ Add a new programme
A programme groups practical courses (e.g. Pharmacy AI → Unit 1, Unit 2…).
Students
Master student roster — add students one by one below, or upload the CSV exported from the
backend (same format as alizon-students-*.csv). Either way it reflects instantly on every portal. Date of
birth is stored in simple number format DDMMYYYY (e.g. 08121996 — no spaces).
Add a student manually
Registration number and full name are required. The password is set to the registration
number unless you type a different one — the student signs in with those on the student portal.
More details (optional) — used on ID cards, certificates & letters
Bulk upload & roster
Access & Logins
Manage sign-in credentials for every portal from one place. Changes take effect on the next login.
Administrator password
Change the master admin password used for the Admin, Faculty and Staff portals.
Employees & faculty are managed in the Staff & Faculty section (logins auto-generated there).
Reset a student password
Search a student and set a new password (blank → resets to their registration number).
Staff & Faculty
Add and manage employees & faculty. The login ID and password are generated automatically — you can edit or regenerate them. Records here power the Staff Portal login and the HR Studio.
Add an employee / faculty member
All staff & faculty
Fees & Payments
Upload the fees export from the backend (CSV with the same columns as the payment report).
Re-uploads skip duplicate transactions automatically and tell you how many were found.
Payments are matched to roster students by name.

Results
Publish module-wise results. Choose a course and module, then upload the results CSV. Students see them instantly on the public Results page (/alizon-results) by entering their registration number & batch. Re-uploading a module replaces it.
Publish a module result
CSV needs a registration-number column (header containing “reg”, “roll”, “admission” or “enroll”) and optionally a name column. Every other column (marks, grade, result…) is shown to the student.

✔ Submissions & Evaluation
Grade student practicals & self-assessments. Grades & feedback reflect on the student portal.
✎ Experience Letters
A letter is never issued on its own. Faculty evaluate a practical first; only verified practicals
appear below, and you choose which of them go on the letter. You decide the hours credited to each
practical — set them row by row, or type a figure in “Hours for all” and apply it to every row at once
(it starts at 30). Issuing publishes the letter to that student’s profile.

Letter settings
The official ASAP artwork ships with the site — upload here only to replace it.
Signatories
Add the people who sign for the institution, then say who signs each kind
of document — the Director can sign experience letters while the Admissions Officer signs notifications. With
Signing set to digital, each document carries that person’s own signature and prints a line saying it is
system-generated, which is the normal practice for such records.
Every letter and notification the portal produces is system-generated, so it always
carries a line saying so. Left blank the wording follows how the document was signed. Applies to experience letters,
admission notifications and police clearance letters.

↺ Reset & Fresh Start
Reset practical marks — for one student, a whole batch, or everyone — or prepare the entire system for a fresh hand-over to students. Faculty, students and allotment details are always kept. Changes sync to the student portal and cannot be undone.
Reset practical marks
Submission retention — 6 months
Every practical submission carries its full report, and the cloud stores them all in
one document with a 1 MB limit. Trimming submissions older than 6 months keeps that document healthy.
Download the archive first — trimming cannot be undone.
🚀 Fresh start — hand the system over to students
Clears the ticked demo / operational data so students logging in see a clean, fresh system. Always kept: faculty, students, seat allotment, courses & modules, syllabus and website content — so logins and content keep working.
Read the first tick carefully. “Practical marks & submissions” deletes every practical
report students have submitted, including work still waiting in the faculty evaluation queue.
It is not demo data and it cannot be recovered. It is left unticked on purpose — download a
backup from Data & Backup before you tick it.
Grievances
Grievances raised by students — institute-wide (not tied to a programme). Students see your reply on their portal.
Faculty
Faculty directory shown on the student dashboard. Indian & USA faculty are pre-loaded — edit as needed.

Lab & Module Schedules
Scheduled live labs, induction & demo sessions — shown on the dashboard schedule for students to join.

Alerts, Attendance & Meetings
Push need-based alerts to students, mark attendance, and confirm meeting requests. Everything here syncs to the student dashboard instantly.

Auto-recorded attendance
A student is marked present automatically on the day they submit a practical,
assignment, self-assessment or internal exam. Signing in is recorded too, but it does not count as attendance on its own —
those days show as no work so you can see who logged in and did nothing. A day marked by hand below always overrides
the automatic record.

Exams
Define exam windows (cycles), then review & approve student applications. Every approval issues a hall-ticket number and lets you set venue, date & purpose — one-by-one or in bulk by batch. The modules-completed count on each row shows a student's progress before you approve.

Website Content
Edit the public website text. Changes go live for every visitor via cloud sync.

Website News & Research Stories
Publish image stories in the alizongov research-page pattern — they appear instantly in the Campus News & Research section of the public Academics page (first published story is the big spotlight). Paste an image URL or upload a photo (auto-compressed, stored in the cloud).
Data & Backup
Export a full backup of every data store, or wipe everything for a clean go-live. These act on all synced institutional data (students, submissions, exams, HR, announcements, results, etc.).
Full backup
Download all data as a single .zip (one JSON file per store, plus a manifest) to keep on your own hardware.
Automatic snapshots
The system photographs your data once a day, and again immediately before
anything destructive — a roster clear, a fresh start, a submission trim, a marks reset. Snapshots are
kept in the cloud for 14 days and can be put back here without touching anything else. This is what was
missing on 11 August, when submitted practical work was cleared and there was no copy of it anywhere.
Danger zone — reset everything
Permanently deletes ALL data on this device and in the cloud. Your admin password is kept so you stay signed in. Download a backup first. Type DELETE to confirm.

Every upload, approval, evaluation and update is logged here (newest first).
