PV Foundations — learn it by doing it
You are not expected to know any of this yet. This workshop assumes you have not studied pharmacology, have never seen a MedDRA term, and could not define causality assessment. It teaches you each of those things at the moment you need it, and then asks you to use it on a patient.

The question this workshop asks is never “do you know the answer?” It is “here is a patient, here is the information available — what would you check next?” That is what a pharmacovigilance professional actually does, and you can start doing it today, before you have the knowledge, because the reference desk is open the whole way through.
Educational simulation. Every patient, identifier, batch number and laboratory value here
is fictional and synthetic. The drug information is textbook-level teaching material, and the coding section is a
structural stand-in for MedDRA, not a licensed MedDRA extract. Nothing in this workshop is clinical decision
support and none of it may be entered into a real safety database.
