Vaccines are living biology in a vial. Keep them between +2 °C and +8 °C or they quietly lose potency — the vial looks exactly the same either way. Your job is to prove, with data, that this consignment stayed safe.

  1. Verify what arrived against what was promised — manufacturer, batch, quantity, expiry.
  2. Scan the QR so the carton's identity and journey are traceable.
  3. Read the temperature log — find the peak and how long it stayed out of range.
  4. Grade the excursion against the WHO stability table, not by eye.
  5. Decide: accept, quarantine & investigate, or discard (only with authorisation).
  6. Distribute by FEFO, document the dispatch, report any AEFI, then audit and sign off.
