Your shift

You are the Clinical Pharmacist at CityCare Digital Hospital. An urgent case has been assigned from Internal Medicine: a 68-year-old man on anticoagulation whose new prescription has just arrived for verification. Nothing is handed to you — you must go and look for it.

1. The patient record, the laboratory results and the medication history are hidden until you request them. What you choose to check is itself marked.
2. Three information sources are available — MediRef, RxInteract and the Hospital Digital Formulary. Using the right source for the right question is a marked skill.
3. Finding an interaction earns nothing. Judging whether it matters for this patient is what earns marks.
4. An AI clinical assistant will offer you a summary. It contains errors. Verify before you accept.
5. At the end the case advances 24 hours and the patient responds to your decisions. If it goes badly you may rewind and correct — the three decision steps are re-scored, and the rewind is recorded on your report.

The case clock runs up rather than down. There is no time limit — but the time you took is recorded on your report.
